still having this problem sometimes well most times you put the foot down you get the deep low end sound you are suposed to get but then about 4k revs upwards getting this dead very little sound slow acceleration to vtec and is stuttering sometimes been on going problem all winter now.
changed distributer and plugs
dont know if its the air filter if its mabey needing oil change i have no idea but its becoming an absalute pain
 
you can buy a cheap kit to do it yourself but any decent garage should be able to do this
 
sounds like fuel stavation to me have you let fuel get really lo could have draged some crap out of tank and blocked filter.

was just coming onto say this i think it mite have just been bad fuel ive burnt all the shitty fuel and filed it up with more from diferent garage and is running good again should i change the fuel filter?
 
I definitely would. They don't cost much and it's a pretty simple job so there's no reason not to.
 
Just got a OEM filter from honda today was only £19.

If it still comes back after that, it maybe worth getting your lambda sensor checked.
