opinions on ek9 styling.. !!!

I just got a new facelift ek9. its completely standard outside and looks well..


the look ive been thinking about is

spoon carbon mirrors, lip, spoiler
spoon blue visor, rear window and under mirrors decals
new rota slips
and I already have a spoon exhaust..

what would you rather, above or standard

its all personal preference mate, we all like different things!
 
yeah I know , its just ive never seen one done even google images wont bring anything up in facelift with them parts
 
i've seen it done plenty of times dude, theres quite a few on google...

basically what you have described is a spoon rep EK9.
 
In my opinion:

Carbon fiber hood.
Desmond regamaster evo / volks te37 white wheels
Volks wheel nuts.

Spoon decals will look cool, but a lot of people have them...

yeah that's true a spoon rep.. I cant find one done, even the original spoons are preface lift
 
i well want some genuine spoon mirrors!

yeah sounds good with your ideas minus the stickers ;)
 
yeah ive seen that on google images, gives a very good idea alright but a splitter on the front would totally change it and I cant find a pic like that..
 
If you plan to put spoon mirrors, please make sure you get the original ones, fake ones look like sh*t been there... done that..

Tbh mate it's your car you shouldn't care what other people think..buts its nice to be different looks good Oem..:)

and the Spoon decalls, personally I don't like them. But you can try them on, if you like them, keep them, otherwise, pull them off. Not that much lost

why do retards buy ek9s and ruin them

your plans sound good though adam

if i was to do it all again id keep it OEM and spend money on power bolt ons

^ this, keep it fresh OEM outside and put money into chassis or gearbox

i done that with the y56 . put serious money into a engine, box, ecu etc

I think this time ill stay nice n slow with my 1600..

I don't know what to do because it looks great oem, so fresh but I want it to be different ..:nerv:
 
I havn't found an apperance modded 9 that i have looked at and said thats better than standard. The only thing i would change is 98 spec 16" wheels white on white.
The amount of people on here with visual you would probibly be diffrent not doing anything at all!

Invisable or subtle mods is the way i would go, spoon exhaust & k&n pannel filter.
For road use the 9 is fine on its factory suspension and ride height.

Spend your money on keeping your already clean 9 looking and running clean.
