Its not much to look at just yet but over the next couple of months ill have it in the booth for a full respray etc

We found a good shell with about 40k miles :)

So far we have a DC2 donor car for engine etc , full roll cage , perspex windows , meister R coilovers , bucket seats + harnes`s

ive made a carbon recess for the rear plate ( still need a trim n polish ) and ive made a 1 off carbon fiber evil eye

bit boring to look at yet but watch this space ;)

I am envious in a way, you are at the start of a long build with tons to look forward to; start to a fun adventure.

Great shape the hatch is in, good luck with it! Keeps us posted, we love to watch! lol

looks like a nice low mileage and clean shell which is always a good start mate look forward to the rest of the build :)

Looking good mate - this is what I plan on doing to my road goind ek4 in approx 2yrs time.

Just need to find a friend who wont mind having an ek living in their barn / unit etc for most of every year (stops GF from moaning about having 2 cars!).

Keep up with the good work and keep posting the updates.

Love the carbon numberplate thang :)

wow, looking awesome mate!! will be keeping 'track' of this build ;)

Very nice, car has changed so quickly and looks awesome :) Just one question, maybe you didnt but in the photos it looks like you kept the sound deadening stuff in the rear? Why so? And keep up the good work, will be fun watching the rest of this :nice:

Looks good, however from the photos it looks like the rear sound deading has just been sprayed over.

If your looking to track it how come you havent removed it?

Looks lovely mate, good work.
Agree about the sound proofing though, it is a pain of a job but it is a decent bit of weight altogether. And it is easier to do in the winter when as the cold makes it more brittle and easier to chip out.
