Hello all,

just joined the site.. i believe a bredgin of mine is on the site.. None the less I own a DC5R making great power, and just purchased an EK to setup up.. Have a K series crate motor landing from Miami next week, and should be looking at putting down a good amount of power..

Am hoping to learn more and make some good business connections on the site as I plan on spending to create a great road machine..

car isn't much to look at now.. unfortunately there are only a handful of ek9's on the island, and just about every owner won't sell.. so instead of waiting years to get my hands on a ek9 I'm bought a very clean ek3 that already has some ek9 mods, none the less when I'm finished it will be brutally fast (na of course) and demand attention.. More importantly it will handle in the corners..

Cool.I didn't see any performance Jap Cars when I was there in back in 2002. But the Jap scene seems to have really evolved a great deal since then from some of the Cars Ive seen on here and other forums.
When/where abouts on the Island do the big meets happen etc? I'm hopefully going to try and reach to some when I'm back out there. (I usually stay in Ochi, but willing to travel for a good Jap meet)

No band wagon in JA... We've been building, racing, and tuning JDM cars for a veryyyyy long time.. If you stayed in Ochi, that's probably why you didn't see any...

Yeah I guess so.But isn't there a pretty big starlet turbo following over in Ochi now? One guy in partiular Rory aka Hardcore EP, has produced some seriously fast starlets over the years.
I'll keep an eye out next time I'm over and try to head to Kingston. Any particular reason why the scene is bigger over there than other parts of JA?
