I remember that 106 rallye around bedford seen it a few times ages ago.

Have yet to this JDM MR beast in bedford yet.

Have you been to the bedford meets in bedford at homebase or something near tescos?

well heres a longggggg update:

it is quite simply wheels but i have put alot of hours in to them (and blood)

This is what i have got 16x7 volk rays mesh!!

i saw them for sale and knew the potential and i think its paid of well!

they have center caps whch dont fit at all ill get on to that later but here they are

standing next to car look ok!?

then put them on for a trial fit for about half hour

look good i think but need work and a more personal touch to them

Soo off they came to get what i needed to do to them starting with why the centers didnt fit

they had been resprayed and the paint was complety covering the thread which was not allowing them to screw on properly

i spent a few hours trying to grind it back but it honestly was stupidly thick.. i used crust paint remover and paint stripper still didnt do much

but the next day i managed to get them all down to bare metal basically which allowed them to fit

this was half way through the red paint to the blue paint underneath

what i did in the end was grind a stanley blade through the thread to get the deep paint out of them

anyways after that this is what they looked like

look okay but i had a picture in my head i wanted so heres what happened next

i sprayed them red then gave them gold detailing

so eventually afters many hours later with a fine paint brush i had these

so as you can tell im all about red and gold on these so i also got these for abit of banter

heres a better pic when i clean them i found

So after a good clean with many different products they looked like this.. summer should be 8) 8)

i wanted the finishing touch which was the formula sticker which was blue and looked totally out of place
(not for long)

then off to the graphic shop and later had these

alot of hard graft later they started coming off

That was the wheels basically done but the main thing i didnt have was bolts which would allow me to fit the center caps without them stickout out to far soo

a bag of bolts later which this is half the size

so they were ready to bolt on but as i was putting them on i was painting with gold hammerite which works well with the wheels

so from this

to this

gave the spec 2 a buff up as i could get to the bend with the wheel off

good job with no masking tape


sooooo finally here they are

I think they totally suit the car and all in all look smart as fook!

Was definatley worth the 2 week wait to put them on and many hours putting into them as they look very different...

They compliment the milano well and the gold just finish them off perfectly

This was the exact image in my head so a job well done i think!

Plus they still have function as they are only 7 inch wide not something stupid...

Perform better than the 96 jdm wheels by far!

Well this update is all about lowsss

i bought some GAZ coilovers to drop the teg

i was going for the slammed affect

that was it dropped so here are the pics

Well its a harder ride but of course it would be

However its getting raised tomorrow so that it sits just above the tyre so i can still drive properly
but i do think it looks cool like that

Gaz coilovers are good though and go low but i want to still be able to drive fast so its getting raised again

Ill update when is abit higher again

well you sprayed the rallye from blue to cherry red as it had never been done? why not a cherry red teg

well i got a few more parts to fit!

first off i cleaned the car and t cutted the headlights which brang them up alot clearer

i dont have the pic for some reason cause it wont upload but they are clear

So next up is the update which is not to alot of peoples taste on here but i like it

roof spoiler and my wind deflectors

got these fitted and then thought it would look better without the spoiler so here it is

Next i need to do is fit my funky power decat, get some oem honda bolts and also a brake resistor from honda too

Update time:

Well the teg had its MOT this month and i normally dread it as my previous 3 cars all failed But the teg done it first time :gun: :gun: :mrgreen:

looking high

So next was to sort out the little niggly problems before mimms

which was these

funcky power decat
brake retainer
exhaust bolt (not even needed)

So i drove up to my mates garage and got started first was the brake retainer as my one had broke and started squeeking

all it was making the noise was this little clip all sorted now though

that done was time for the new decat

old one off and the comparison

the funky power decat is made so much better compared to the tegiwa such a good bit of kit glad i changed it

Next we machined polished the headlights as my mate has a proper powerful one and thought it would be rude not to so the left one was before and the right one was after

both done

headlights alot brighter

excuse the dirty car by the way ull see it clean when i prepare for mimms lol

So now its that time to clean for mimms

Wash,clar barred,polished, waxed and touch up my wheels abit as the centers really need respraying

Cleaned up the spec 2.. Blinging!

Then next was mimms itself, which was really good so here are some photos i took and what i found online which other people have took

I want to try and get a 98 spec bumper as the paint on mine has flaked abit so may aswell get the 98 resprayed instead of mine
