this is super cool, like a brand new eg haha

defo keep the ssrs. get a cage.

Love the seats, any idea how light they are compared to ek9 recaros? seen as they are recliners.

very nice work so for dude, keep it coming.

I work for BG aswell on the service side. You been with them long?

Cool! Been with them for just over 3years now on the Electrical Services side. You been with them long?

never seen the original engine before, what is the output on those?

The previous engine I had for my Civic was a D16z6 (which was also a conversion from the original as my Civic is a LSi model which was a 1.5 automatic when it left the Honda factory ;p) which is normally found in the ESi model. It was a very fun engine, it made 125bhp, 101whp on the Dyno. Lot more economical than the B ;p

This ^^

Sweet build, some amazing progress.

Thanks guys, yeah I do plan to cage it, I was thinking doing that next year at some point.

To be honest, I can't comment on that I'm afraid, never owned a set of recaros or lifted them up for that matter. Thanks for the kind words :)

I'm swaying to keeping my SSR's and just get new/better rubber for them. They're sooo light, only 4.4kg's each. I know there are lighter ones but these will do for now I think. Only let down is the offset, could do with them being 10mm wider out each side.

ah right, didn't come from Hondas so have no idea about any bar the Type R models

dont suppose you have a link to those seats please mate? :))

Quick update. About a month ago I thought I'd make the interior slightly more appealing considering I'd stripped it out.

It started off looking like this;

Then prepped it prior to spray!

Quite happy with the outcome!

I've ordered some black carpet and a black handbrake (as it's still grey).

Unfortunately I don't I'm afraid. I purchased them from the UK Bride supplier via eBay rather than direct from Japan. He only had a limited amount of stock left as they're no longer dealing with Bride anymore. If you google Bride Gias seats, you should have many results :)

Stunning man, Really love it and I'm not much of an EG fan a lot of the time. Can I ask what make your adjustable rear droplinks are? P.s props for the new arches, the majority of EG's now a days are in need of them!

Thanks for the kind words, really appreciate it! The drop links came with the ASR ARB. Regards to the arches, one side still needs doing which hopefully will be done by spring next year :).

As i said over on HOT cars looking good man. Keep it up :)

Thanks man :)

Cars looking good. Really starting to like egs the more projects I see of them.

Keep it up!

I thought I'd rather ask my question here in my own build to get peoples opinions than start another post elsewhere.

One side of my arch has become quite bad in terms of rust. Regrettably, I didn't have a new arch welded in. My rear bumper also has a cut out in it to allow room for the fart cannon (4" backbox) that my car used to have. Which was done by previous owner. Now getting a new rear bumper is no biggie, however I always say that if I'm going to change the bumper, I may as well get the arch done at the same time.

My question is, do you think I should get the bodywork done? Reason why I'm asking for opinions is because I'm planning to track my car and it's not a daily driver. I used to be real fussy in as much as how clean my car was and where I left it/parked it etc but I'm trying to detach myself from it slightly. The downside of leaving it is, arch will continue to get worse (obviously), and my car looks a bit odd from the rear as I have a N1 sitting where it should be, but a cut out in my bumper for no apparent reason ...

Anyways, I won't go on, would like your thoughts! Thanks in advance.
