Alright Guys / Gals

I have started a group on the mighty facebook to get the EK9 round the top gear track! Would be nice if some of you could join :) and I hope you don't mind but I have set the groups page as ek9.org :)

If we do get an invitation, does anyone have an absolutely mint EK9 (gotta be a facelift as we all know they are better :) j/k ) that we could use. Obv has to be mechanically sound and the engine needs to be producing as close to the 185bhp list power as possible. Obviously most people will be slightly down on this due to the age of these cars.
 
I thought facebook would be an ideal place due to its userbase and ability for people on other EK9 / related Honda groups to see the group too.
 
i disagree entirely. It's a social networking site. I don't see how that is a good avenue by comparison to say, here.

I must admit though, I am kinda biased...
 
i think you can use facebook. say after a month, you should get the list of everyone in the group and show top gear.
 
You might get more people to sign it on facebook etc but I think the BBC would respect it more if it was coming from owners clubs
 
joined great idea would put a lot of stuff to shame. And prove there are cool honda's as Clarkson has said there is not any in the past.
 
Like I said, the groups website links straight to here. Would like to put I/We have the support of the owners club. Will have to wait and see what rvm and blinx think.

If this does actually come to fruition, you know only a completely standard example is gonna do dont you?
 
Maybe a drive in an EK9 would teach Clarkson his arse-from-his-elbow when it comes to Honda's so he'll stop slagging them off. :p

I'm on both and I much prefer facebook... I rarely use bebo now as it seems so far behind and trys to copy a lot of what facebook has...

I joined and invited over 100 people to join as well :nice:

I'm joining but I'm sure that there would be one of his rules that suggest the car should not go on the power board:(
 
Would be complete if we could get some kind of a EK9 vs DC2 comparison...
