Hello everyone .

After a family bereavement yesterday i have spent all morning chasing my tail
catching up on emails and phonecalls .

I have just spoken to kevin at dastek uk as he called regarding our booked
dyno day on the 19/06/10 and has said to me there dyno has been sold and
there new one wont be up and running until around a months time . i have
done a screenshot of the email i got him to send me so you guys dont think
im taking the piss .

After everyone being so prompt and sending me the money and this being booked well over a month ago . to say im raging at this is an understatement .

As i know folk have taken time off work for this it isnt exactly much notice
with the date set only being just over a week away .

Kevin has said we can re-set the date to suit everyone or he can understand ifeveryone wants a full re-fund .

The choice is up to you guys but if we have the total ammount of folk going below then this will have to be cancelled at much regret by myself .

After speaking to other members on the ohone this morning a few suggested trying to get somewhere else to do it on the 19th but personally i think it is a bit late and the hassle i would have trying to organise it also and whether the price would be different i really dont have time for with a funeral to help arrange .

The dates suitable if we want to re-arrange at dastek will be 24th or 31st july

I will go and send everyone that has sent payment etc a PM informing them of this with my private email attached to reply to.


The question is does everyone want a re-fund or is the 24th or 31st july ok for everyone ?????

Everyone will get a follow up email by friday letting you know what the decision is as i will then know if the new dates are suitable for folk or whether i need to go and re-fund everyone

just to clarify i spoke to john regarding this earlier and for anyone thinking of moaning or having a go it aint his fault and dastek should of informed him at the time or at least a lot sooner to save this happening. I have had to put a report into my work for the day off and that so its a bit of a pain for me as well but aint gonna start crying about it. Everyone that was comming im sure is sound anyway so wont have any hassle, i'm up for re-setting the date as was looking forward to this, will wait and see what others have to say.
 
thanks for that gav . i have had a couple folk reply wanting a re-fund but hopefully still manage to keep the numbers up to re-schedule this
 
Cheers for the update mate. I'm willing to wait until next month unless everyone else drops out.
Seen this happen on other forums and I think everyone on here is grown up to not bother whinging about it as John went to the hassle of arranging it so he's the one who's really put out.
Was more looking forward to meeting some of you guys than getting some pub talk ammo.

thats a bit rubbish but nothin u could have done mate. I suggest havin a meet instead even though i wont be able to attend lol. Since some people have taken days off might aswell make the most of it?
 
ok folks had quite a few replys from folk and there willing to go for a date in july . most likely the 24th . so will contact yous all again on thurs once everyone has replied and keep yous posted

Yeah...kind of

I managed to get a hold of a rear mount
But before i got around to fitting it i snapped the gearbox mount :(

So managed to get another one from the scrappys and have just filled it with tiger seal, im wanting it a lot more solid
It seems like it is going to take for ever to dry though
Going to stick it in the oven for a bit to harden it up quicker
just not sure how hot or for how long :nerv:

Yeah if its a nice day i would be up for that but with the state of the scottish meet dont know if its worth the bother, 3 of us will turn up haha, if there are a few people up for meeting up im game as im off anyway. John spoke to ava and there no use anyway so sack that idea lol up for another date though
 
Am happy to go with a rearranged date in july either date suits me . Would really be better for me at the end of july am off and dont gave to get someone to cover me.
 
looks like the majority are good to re-arrange for the 24th july . waitin on a few more folk to reply to the pm and i will update you guys :)

was awaiting a reply from everyone as there is around 3 folk not replied that i know have been online and just not replied . i think we are going to re-set the date for 24th july but there will be a pm sent very soon to everyone . just trying to chase up the last few folk
