Be aware there are some new fake Takata's out that seem to be closer to the real deal than the rest:

They still don't have the double stitching on the ends, however they now have the 4 crosses rather than 3 or 7, the stitching isn't as bold or broad on the fake:

The buckles are not plastic, they are now quite heavy metal, they usually have a glossy carbon sticker but this one fell off:

The FIA tags are on the correct way now, still a died green though and only stitched at the top, they say they are valid to 2017 which is generally too long a validation for harnesses:

There isn't a no serial number on the metal strip, this is the same with the clips aswell:

They are a brighter green than the real deal aswell. They also have silver bolts unlike the other fakes:

I couldn't find any info on these comparing against the real version so I thought I'd post it up, hope it helps someone else.

The guy said they were the same as his genuine ones he had. I sent them back for a refund anyways. I should of got more pics off him really before buying but I read up about the 4 X stitching etc and though they were real from his pics.

Just random question:
Why should you be aware of these harnesses?
If I can not afford real ones, I buy these, as I like the looks. I still haven't got them, but it seems that the quality is good and they won't snap on accident, and this is what you want from seat belts, right? :?

You would have to be a complete an utter tool to knowingly buy fake seatbelts. Yea they might look good quality but they havnt gone through the testing that the real ones will have. Steer clear imo!

People should be aware of these so you don't end up paying genuine prices for a fake product. Also I wouldn't choose to buy a fake safety item, however they didn't seem too bad quality.

Very often it's crap, but I once ordered polyurethane Type R lips for my EG for 180 dollars inc shipping to the Netherlands. Guess what? They were great! Fitment couldn't have been better. So it's not ALL crap. But there is a lot of crap on Ebay.

I agree its not all crap.. if you search and be smart you can find decent Rep parts for a fraction of the price. Im looking for front and rear CTR EK9 lips also online, what buyer did you buy from on Ebay?

I am sure DriftWorks use(d) Rota wheels, they do sell them & that old S15 must be around 700bhp & Phil has been seen sideways at 100+mph.

Must have balls like King Kong.

Cyberspeed front camber arms. The ball joints lasted about 6 months and cost £100 for 2 new ones

Avid1 wheels, possibly even worse quality than Japan Racing wheels.
