Got round to sorting my car out to how I want it now, just some gearing changes will be coming soon so watch this space! :)

only thing that will change in the future are transmission parts but still not sure what to do.

Well the 9 has a bit of a problem but cant diagnose it. Car has been driving amazing since it got remapped by Henry over a year ago.

But over the last 2 months the engine management light has come on 3 times when engine is cold. Weird because once I turn the car off then start again its fine and never comes on when warm.

Never noticed any difference in driveability and performance. My car is a daily driver. Anyway I went to a Dyno day at Hypertech with a load of my mates and my car only mdae 168bhp at the fly on the Dyno Dynamics! :( something not right there as it made 206bhp at the fly on Henrys dyno!

Havent changed one thing on the car since it got remapped, always serviced and run on vpower. Look like there was alot of smoke on the over run when on dyno. AFR's were 13 same as at Henrys but intake temp was up at 29 from 13 when I had it remapped by Henry. This could have made a small difference. BUT how come my bro's almera GTi made 156bhp at Henrys on same day as me then 150bhp at Hypertech on same day as me. He loses 6bhp and I lose about 40bhp and about 20tq??!! :(

Plus a standard FN2 and EP3 both made 197bhp at the fly right after me at Hypertech on same day as me.


I had the IACV cleaned and the oil changed before the dyno day. So no problem there. Going to change the PCV valve and vtec solenoid gaskets as Henry says that may help. If still same going back to see him.

Will post both graphs up to compare. ANY THOUGHTS PLEASE?
 
hmm not sure man, i'd get henry to give it a full check over :((
 
From what ive heard B series engines dont make high figures on the new dyno dynamic dynos. Id take it to Henrys and see what he thinks.

Yea I had heard th same too Kaks. Hopefully it is just th dyno. Will see what henry says.

I know not to get too caught up in dyno figures but it was such a shocking drop in numbers between different dynos. Ok a few bhp but not like 38! Very weird! Will hopefully be a quik cheap fix! Lol

replaced the PCV valve as the one that was on was fecked when we took it off. gave the whole system a good clean and changed the vtec solenoid gaskets too.

car seems alot better, idles better but going to see Henry next month and get it back on dyno.
