Joined here in 2007 when i was 20 lol. 6 years on, i've still not had an Ek9, just four Clio RS'! I bought one as a 'stop gap' and ended up having four of them! I still lust after an EK9 sometimes but for now i have a 172 Cup!

It's mostly a standard car, the only add on's are the Recaro Trendline seats and 'black edition' uprated engine mounts. I don't have many plans for it other than just enjoying it for what is a standard car!

So anyway, here it is...











And a poor attempt at the 'panoramic' feature on the Iphone 5! :eek:

looks good mate! ive been wanting an ek9 for a while now but i always end up looking at clios due to them being nicely priced and coming from a background of french hot hatches i will always have a soft spot for these

anyway ive been looking at 172 cups myself, i have owned a clio sport trophy a couple years back but i enjoyed my mates 182 more than i did the trophy lol!

but tbh i think i will end up with a bianca white 306 rallye!
 
love it mate used to own both a 172 and 182 great wee cars and i like the trophy seats as well ;)
 
Sell the car and get some Honda pics up here :D

Mate had a 172 Cup and did go well as i drove it also, he sold it and got an EK9 :)

Well i can inform you more went wrong with the Clio than the prefacelift 9.

He sold the EK9 on (which he regrets) and went a different direction and is now back in a Honda Accord.

Personal preference and all that,the Clio had good torque compared to the Honda and was pleasing to the eye but it ends there im afraid.
 
My Ex had one of these - sold it for a JDM STI. The 172 pulled so much better, it's a surprising little car for sure!

This is the best spec for them too, for sure - hate the stupid dual tailpipes of the 182. Awesome car :)

Thanks pal, aye they're damn good fun. I won't ever get rid of it, worth more to me as it is to sell! They really do get under you're skin!
 
Nice car, the best 172 in my opinion. I had the phase 1 in iceberg silver. I miss that car even though it had a fair few problems (gearboxes and interior bits and bobs). All round good car despite those!
