Just got a MyHondaHabbit sump stud kit, going to use it with a new oem sump gasket. Anyone done the sump stud conversion? This engine will not leak anything... nothing annoys me more and oil is too expensive to be falling out!
I didnt even know they made a sump stud kit tbh.
You using a new morosso sump? I find old B series sump tend to have a bend in them and that's where the leak starts..
yeah man it's on ebay for 40 quid. tbh youo can piece it together yourself for pennies but im for too lazy for that. Ill get a pic up tonight.
Re moroso, to start with no. Funds wont allow it but... when im dropping the run in oil in February i will hopefully swap the sump for a moroso. Only thing that puts me off it is having to buy adapters for oil temp probe and turbo oil return.
And yeah my sump was about as flat as a beach ball so decided to go for it. Should of had this done weeks ago tbf but forward thinking is not one of my strengths.
I like 1.9 tbh, people know it's had work and it's not a b20 then.
Not that what others think matters particularly.
Should have got you to order me a real street Tshirt!(assuming that's where the sumps coming from)
Can't be paying shipping from the states for a Tshirt lol
When I hear 1.9 I think vag diesel haha. but 1.9 tvi (turbo vtec injection) has a ring to it.
Ended up getting it from @Tegiwa Imports emailed and asked if they could supply the 5.5 quart kicked out bad boy and they came back with a price... Realstreet with shipping was 295 but then taxes would be added, Tegiwa worked out cheaper. Thats why theyre the best lol
