Sam's Fresh ek9 Import - trackday & update.

Exhaust system and manifold looks quality.
They do look sick time to get the auto sol out and keep that back box shiney! Going to give the car a full clay bar sesh of the year wax and polish soon when the weather shapes up!

been a good few weeks since i have updated this again so here go's :)

alot has happand since the last time i updated,

first was a few goodies came in the post from hendy, had a mini service droped the oil added some fresh stuff new air filter new hemp filter, combe was comeing up. (got a video that i will upload soon ;) )

took the car back to performance autoworks to get my s300 fitted and mapped it made 202bhp - 160bhp at the wheels im happy with the out come vtec kicks at 4800rpm and pulls hard all the way to 9000rpm a good diffrence and a smoother power band.

also got a lock up container for the 9 so its really safe and kept away from the rubbish weather,

overall the car is running like a dream such a solid car puts a massive smile on my face everytime i drive it :D

got a good few photo's for you all :)

new home for the car :)!

Looks good man but I'm surprised you have vtec crossover so low although good to see getting over 200bhp out a little b16b!

Thanks mate, rich said its something to do with my mods and the map for it to come in that early but it seems perfect and pulls alot harder and smoother to 9k rpm

fair enough mate, I had an obd1 ecu that was apparently mapped and the car made over 200bhp but it has vtec come in at 5200rpm and it just didn't pull through the full rev range as it does now on the standard ecu

ahhh right yeah thats wierd... My car dont seem to go any quicker just feels smoother and the powerband is alot more longer, then it comeing in at 6200 and hitting the limiter at 8500 now its more leaner with the power but to be honest car aint gone much quicker then before the ecu and map but overall im happy with the smoother powerband

Its been a while since i have done any recent update on here.

Poor ek9 has been left out over the past few months,

Hey mate im thinking about Mfactory 4.9 final drive or maybe 4.7 been waiting to do it for a while!

The car looks unreal! love the garage too! I'd recommend the 4.7, makes a nice difference and doesnt make it too bad on motorways!

Your harnesses though, they way they are currently set up there's a good chance they would make the seat collapse in a crash. Also the angle the straps go down to the floor will compress your back if the seat doesn't collapse. Neither of these out comes are good! And i am speaking from first hand experience, a good mate of mine couldn't move his legs for two days after a crash due to spinal shock from the harness angle!

Very sobering moments I'm sure! I think it's an age thing tbh. Afew years ago I'd fly about like that even after warnings of spinal injury etc.
Now? Full weld in cage, double cross door bars and fia legal safety equipment. Not messing about lol
