Hi I purchased one of these from you on Ebay.

I have sent you a message on Ebay, could you respond please.

MR. Rob.
I have received your message about the spoiler is bad fitment.
And i have reply you said yoy can return it for full refund or have part refund to cover the work.
Im sorry about this, it can be the spoiler problem.
To be honest to you i dont have any other customer with this problem.
Regards
Ben

Also plas post up photo of the problem.
Because if it turns out is customer fault than i cant exchange or refund.

No problems I will re-fit it again tomorrow and post pics up here.

In short;

Bolts are in the wrong place, thus it has to be flexed, to make it fit in the holes, this causes the following. Bowing of about 15mm above the roof line, the base plate not fitting flush to the window out by about 20mm and the boot cannot be opened as the spoiler catches.

The fact there is so much excess fibreglass on the fixings does not help either.

That an the fact that one of the bolts that hold the spoiler to the baseplate does nothing but fall out, so is doing nothing.

I don't care if I am the only one who is having a problem, it's a problem.

As I said to you, I have little doubt it can be made to fit but it'll take around 2 hours of work to make fit properly and your offer of £30 to cover it is not reasonable. I would take you up on your offer of having it fitted but you are a 260 mile round trip away, but if you cover fuel I will come to you!

i understand its a problem.
what im trying to say is because we dont have other customer have fitting problem at all.
please supply photo to let us to check problem.
regarding on refund, a £30 as a part refund is for you cover the work which need. i have ask the bodywork shop around our work place, and they happy to do it for this price.

as for cover the fuel, i cant do this sorry.

please supply photo, than we can get it sorted.
regards

Base still catches when opening/ closing the boot, and still sits a little high, and the gap at the screen is uneven and large.

It's clear the base plate is the issue as the actual spoiler is not to bad.

Hi, on 8 Feb i ask you to return it.
It looks like you try you very best to fit it on your car.
And today you message me on ebay asking to return thr base plate.
When i said im looking you return the base plate to me, i inspect it to make sure item problem, than you daid wants to file a claims on ebay.
Is there anything i missed?

Ok lets have this right........

There have been discussions on here and eBay.

I let you know on the 7th of Feb there was a problem.

You offered to fully refund me if there there was a problem/ fault with the item, or a £30 refund to cover fitting. You even asked if I'd drive the 240 miles to let your bodyshop fit it.

You also asked I posted pics of the problem as if was a customer caused problem you'd issue no refund/ replacement

So I took the pictures as best I could and tried to get it fitted for your figure (£30 would = 1 hour labour at most bodyshops), but when the hour ran out, as we'd started we did our best to finish and get it sitting as best we could.

You then offered £40 or a full refund if I sent it back.

I explained that the spoiler is fine, it's just the base plate, and could you just send another of those, and I would return the one I have.

You have refused this until you have received this one back and inspected it incase it's a customer issue as you will not replace if it is.

I then said thats fine I will start a claim as otherwise I have no cover for sending the base plate back and then you doing nothing.

Thats the events thus far, correct?

My issue is sending back the baseplate to then have you say bollox, and I'm left with a spoiler and nothing to fit it to!!

Now to repeat myself, the spoiler seems great, the problem is the base plate. Do you have a baseplate that will fit? If yes great I will take that, if not I need more than a £40 refund to purchase another one.
