I wasn't expecting all that snow out there man ! :wow: Just as bad as scotland..

Keep up the good work mate. :nice:

There is alot of things i didnt expect up in northern afghan, that picture was after one snow shower, we had 10 snow showers in total and got about 2 ft each dump, and it never disapeared until recently as the coldest temp we had was -25.6c. it was the coldest winter in 15 years apparently, and over 300 locals froze to death over the winter period.

and the latest to amaze me is there are actually wild wolves roaming around this part of the country, the locals brought one to our base to see if we wanted to mate it with the female dogs and breed super fighting war dogs.

i will try and post a pic up of the wolf

ok folks as i said above i will get a pic of the wolf so here he is

i didnt get to close as he is a wild wolf not your London Zoo domesticated wolf! more like i will rip your throat out if you come near me kind of wolf

Maintenance Team Leader for East Coast Mainline railway company.

I'm qualified as an Electrical Engineer but have also gained Mechanical Engineering qualifications during my apprenticeship to become dual skilled.

Started as an apprentice, then became a band A on the shop floor. Was 3 and half years on the tools when applied for co-team leader position, and now a full team leader.

Basically run the shift and designate the workers onto the trains as and when they come in, trying to make the best decision a to get the trains out on the tracks on time and ensuring there fitness to run. Maintenance can vary massively from changing a light bulb to renewing wheels sets/engines. Mega interesting, and very demanding job. Love it.
