i've been offered one of these today but i dont no what kind of money there worth or are they a good mod to have over the oem inlet mani, can someone tell me the benefits of the S2 inlet mani, are they any good etc and whats it worth please, thanks

belive i have seen people saying they are a copy of the B18c 98 spec mani... could be wrong.

I've had one on my last 2 B16A2's ... i can feel it pulling harder from 4000RPM onwards.. not majorly but it just seems to breath a bit better... don't know what gain you would see on a B16B but still a good upgrade i'd say.

I sold one in very good condition for £150 so wouldn't say they are worth more than £200 for a mint one..

Chris is right, they are based around the ITR intake manifold with some fine tuning! IMO get an ITR manifold and save your money, unless you have loads to waste ;)

Custom manifold / cutting the oem one open and porting it is the only way to really make much of an improvement, don't waste your money :nice:

the first skunk2 IM was based around the ITR IM but I beliece the pro series have been revised

i have a pro series skunk2 inlet mani and aparantly they dont make much of a difference past 7,000rpm if you have it mapped. other than that its a nice thing to add to your list of upgradees!

My preference goes for the edelbrock performer x... The victor x is claimed to make power from 7000rpms onwards but the performer x is claimed to make power from 3000rev's to 8400rpms.
