Hi guys been on the forum a while now and i have owned my jordan for a year
and loved every second if it :nice:

howver i have now reached the stage of wanting to start to tune it slightly without going over the top!

The car has just hit 56000 miles and is pulling like a train in my eyes :)

i have done a couple of minor things already to enhance performance such as :

jdm adjustable decat
buddy club spec111( thanks to gav-ek9) what an exhaust :nice:
upgraded spark plugs and leads

although all minor i feel they are a start at least :)

however i am looking to get some info and ideas as to what i could do next?
and what is the best place in glasgow to get the work done?

any help would be appreciated :)

haha i was thinking more along the lines of ecus and remapping not quite an engine change mathew lol

out of interest how much would a b20 cost me?
 
induction kit should be next , basic modification .
next maybe e.c.u and a remap .
exhaust manifold + inlet manifold upgraded .
 
Exhaust manifold would make a good difference. Remove the top and bottom resonators plus add a panel filter.
 
im running a few mod's on my wee jordan and it was last rolling roaded at 172bhp now i have a straight threw b-pipe and it made a big difference so you should start with a 2.5" mani,itr intake mani and a good induction and ull see a good difference mate
 
remap and upgrade your fuel system. I also do my fuel soon into doing mods because whats the use in all the mods if your not supplying enough juice. Granted basic mods, exhaust, intake, manifold don't require anymore fuel that factory its best in my opionion to get it out of the way.

Spending money on a b16 is pointless IMO. The amount youl spend on bolt ons etc you could have bought a better engine. Taking 2kish for a decent b20 build
 
yeah i see where ur coming from mathew :)

i will do some stuff like manifold and ecu :)

i want to leave the engine conversion until me and martin find our shell :nice:
then the bad boy goes in :)
 
Shorter gearing would make more of a difference than a mani etc too. Remap and shorter gears would be my shout with a b16a2
 
Or turbo it. Circa 3k for 300bhp on stock internals
