I use my everyday to do a 9 mile round trip to work and back ( soon changing and riding my bicycle *fitness ftw* ) , use it weekends round town to.

So do you keep yours just for the weekend and special occasions ? or do you use it as a daily ?

Imo, cars are meant to be driven. here there and everywhere :lol:
 
I use mine every day for work,goin to the gym,goin out...whatever. I don't buy my car to let it sit in the garage 70% of the time. Lets be fair,it's a 15 year old civic at the end of the day! But that's just my opinion of course :)
 
ive been using my track dc2 for my daily,fully stripped,heavy diff,short ratio box,bucket seats and harnesses and 2bh i love it lol
 
Daily for me :)
But starting to use the bike more to save fuel and tyres and running costs on the 9. :)
 
Hell ya i use my dc2 as a daily doin around 300miles a week:)
I remember i put up 33000miles one year in my old ek9
Not frightened of a few miles me:)
 
i used to use my dc2 but it got to sore on fuel. so i got a wee van. now saving the pounds :)
 
YEP ... i use mine daily.. can only think of 2 - 3 days in the past 6 months of ownership that i haven't used it.. Stripped out the rear also, Loud and lots of road noise but that's all part of it lol i wouldn't have it any other way.

I did 10,000 miles in my EK4 last year, stripped out, stupidly hard ride , still enjoyed it though.
 
Yep is my daily if I'm driving to work and gets used most week ends. Can do anywhere from 7-10,000 miles a year in it.

But has been sat for the last 3 days while I was working on it! :))

I agree. I do a 25 mile round trip almost everyday.. it usually sits Sundays. I get great gas mileage in it so its hard to justify buying another car so this one can sit.
 
i use mine as my dailey to and from work and going to meets etc if im going shopping etc we go in the misses car she has a punto so good for going round town plus i dont want the ek9 getting hit by a trolly or somone elses car door. And ek9 gets stored in my garage for the winter but other than them things its used every day to and from work :)
 
I use my every day for work,shops basically everything as im quite lazy and cant be aresd to walk anywhere,love driving it aswell so even better
 
just out of curiousity what is the price of 97 or above over in the mainland atm? just spotted super round my way at 155.9!! Fook that!
 
ps mine is a occasional weekend runner. Was doing 300 mile a week for a few months and it was deafening! lol
 
Daily driven is where the fun is. I lift share so granted, I'm only driving every other day but it's still 20 miles each way in a k20 DC2 with 1.5 way diff and 5.1 Fd. The lad I work with hates it with a passion, but he's into his BMWs. Describes mine as just being in 3rd gear constantly.

I use mine at weekends only...it makes it even more enjoyable if your not driving it during the week and keeps that pesky mileage down:)

144p ish for 99 octane at tesco.

Mines my daily, wouldn't have it any other way.
 
140 in plymouth when i last filled :D 2 weeks ago.
