Any one know where I can get some???? Hasport or any other recomended make so I don't have yo run the front torque mounts.

Also I need the bracket that bolts behind the cambelt cover for the engine mount, it fits on the block with 3 bolts need a reply asap as I think the oem ones and a wiring loom I have ordered have been lost in the post :(

Save me please!

Innovative, ebay

Thats what i run / where i got mine

The softest ones they make should suffice and won't require torque mounts, i run the next ones up, 75a, they're incredibly stiff but very very good

Dyou know what the innovative mounts are like compared to the hard race ones steven?

MUCH stiffer

Hardrace ones are same design as oem mounts but harder durometer rating / the cambelt side mount is rubber rather than liquid filled

Innovative are same style as Hasports, billet aluminium casing with solid poly inserts

I used to run spoon mounts (pretty much identical to hardrace) with the torque mounts filled, innovatives with no torque mounts is miles stiffer

Extra vibrations is a small price to pay for the extra traction/response you get from the mounts :)

just get innovative steel version, cheaper than billet version which are for looks only

This was going to be my next mod on the list as my original mounts are looking very sorry for themselves.

I dont mind hard mounts as i run full solid steel mounts on my starlet. I like the way they feel.

These innovative mounts sound like they are what im looking for. I couldnt find a set for the EK9 on Ebay though. Ive had a search on google but not getting much luck. Are there any recommended sites?

Yes they are the correct ones, listed as 99-00 as this is when the civic Si was produced and it came with a B16A2 engine, being an american company they list them like that

Can you elaborate on this Steven.

Will the 60A need a torque mount? Is there currently a torque mount on the engine? When fitting these new mounts should the torque mount be removed?

You have 2 torque mounts, they are bolted to the underside of the chassis legs. One of which bolts to a mount on the gearbox and the other bolts to the AC mount on the front of the engine

The innovative mounts come as a set of 3 mounts, they do not come supplied with torque mount replacements

Since the new mounts are solid polyuratheane they will support the engine well enough that you don't HAVE to run the torque mounts, you can if you like although most people don't. I can't see any advantage of running the torque mounts since with hasport/innovative style mounts there is no movement at all in the engine

You save a good bit of weight ditching the torque mounts, and yes, the 60A mounts are stiff enough that you do not require the torque ones

ah I always wondered if I would need the torque mounts, thanks for clearing that up. I will add these to my list of parts to buy! good times!

Your an absolute star Steven. Very well explained. Thank you.
