I emailed a company that make the carbon hatches they said they weigh 8 kilograms. I weighed a stripped standard hatch with all the wiring still inside and it was around 10 kilograms.

Did you see any noticeable reduction in weight with yours?

thats what my is.. i didnt want to spend big money as it is the first thing that will hit a speed ramp or something similar you know, so its likely to get a bit damaged over time so makes more sense not to spend a fortune
