If you wet the wrap 1st it makes the job a bit easier and you can get it on a bit tighter for a neater job :)) but overall a bit more messy!

Does take an age to dry tho, so will be a bit steamy for a few miles! :lol:

polished up both my mani's while they were still on my car! what a mission! definitely going with heat warp the next time though as it looks smart when done right!

Yeah wetting the heat wrap is defo the way to do it!:nice:
 
my old mani was heatwrapped and when i took it off to see the state i stuk the heat wrap striaght back on it was horrid lol
 
Heatwrap will eventually rust even a stainless manifold. moisture gets trapped against the metal. Every manifold I've ever made I've told the customer not to and I've never had a failure.
