the ecus spoon sells are for nearly stock motors as above,
BUT it is a fuzy logic map unlike aftermarket ones such as hondata.
this means it learns ur engine (to an extent)
starting off at a safe map and getting better and better until max (ie ping's etc)
this process takes about two weeks of driving,so i would use it on the b16a.
only concern is the excessive rev limit, spoon is 9k exactly, ek9 is 8600-8800 and b16a is 8250 - 8500.
on ek9 springs it would be fine but i would be worried if you liked the rev limiter
then you may drop a valve.
i have experience with someone using an b16b spoon ecu on a b18c engine with minor breating mods and it made 209 bhp with 148 ilbs and an amazing power curve, i hve never seen such good maps eben by tuners.
it ran slightly lean at 8500 - 9k, the dyno person was well impressed.
if the ecu can learn fuel that much i would be quiet happy in ur situation
