I have for sale a Spoon Sports baffled sump. This was ordered directly from Spoon in the mid 90's, and differs from their newer sumps in that the baffles are brazed into the oil pan, not welded as in later models.

This sump cured my oil surge/starvation issues and I have not had a problem since (3-4 years ago).

Selling due to upgrade to dry sump system, otherwise I would keep it.

Best offer takes it, offers to pm please!

:(

Time to sell them then?

Seriously though, I have had "weld in" baffles in an OEM sump and then this, and it cured my oil starvation issues instantly. Like I said before, I would keep this if I wasn't going dry sump, it's bloody brilliant.

whats your rough price then?

Edit just saw you from New Zealand shipping would be stupid price to the UK

The sump has just been taken off the car at the workshop (which is about a nine hour drive from my house!).

I have an old pic somewhere from when I first bought it, so I will dig it out and post it up.

If this one sells si @ hendy performance may be able to get more, on itr-dc2 he can get hold on dc2 ones for good price

I have not yet decided on a price, as I an unable to find out what they cost new. As far as I know Spoon have discontinued this type of sump.

When I find out what's worth, I will be sure to post it up!

Meantime, if anyone wants to offer, please do it via pm.

Thanks.

I'd have to get a quote to have it sent overseas, but it's not heavy so I would imagine not that expensive.

I will find out and post back here.

quite like the look of this as it has a nice big hole to allow the oil to get back into the base of the pan,, sometimes i think these sumps can be over baffled and don't have enough facility for the oil to get back into the bottom of the pan quickly,
