Not Happy!
Well, story starts from the wanted thread. I saw a response to a facelift ek9 grill which he had so i contacted him. I asked him how much he wants and a picture and of what condition the grill was in, this is the picture i got:
And he said it was in "good condition". The original price he gave wasn't accepted by me and I made him an offer, of which we didn't negotiate to at that point, but as i wasn't too fussed, i just said for him to contact me if he changes his mind. Later on, i guess he did change his mind and payment was sent immediately.
Now, this is what i recieved:
The whole grill has chips and scuffs at the top, which weren't pictured, nor were they described! If the seller had described this to me, it would have affected the sale as I wouldn't have gone through with it!
The best bit; the excuses:
Steven says:
"i sold it to you for £70 not for £80 and i sent it first class to you which costed me £10 so i only made £60 for the grille.
What more could you ask for?"
"Theirs no point argueing because i can't do anything soo.................."
"The grille is USED not brand new so obviously there is going to be some scratches.
The grille is not brand new!"
"i wrote this onto a want to buy thread for someone else and you jumped in for the grille, i didn't make an official for sale thread for the grille and you rushed through the sale of the grille at 11pm to 12pm."
My problem: information about the condition of the grill was ommitted from the deal taking place, information of which could have resulted in me not going further with the deal. The item was well packed so these marks and scratches (worse than they are in the pics i took!) were there before and he knew about it. From the responses that i have recieved from steven, i can only assume that he is a child and his not being a man about the situation.. LOL!
Sorry for the long winded post, just not happy!!
