Thanks for kind words bud, neiller and i only done 4 runs, did get quicker every run thou.
Not used to that launching carry on,trackday next on cards.

Didnt make it down to this but wud have been good crack even with the weather! It is hard to get off the line but letting down the tyre pressures helps and off the line I hardly rev at all, get the car moving 1st then when I feel like thers a bit of grip put the foot to the floor. The start is the key:naughty: I managed a 14.1 at Bishops court in the damp with a uk dc2.

What was nieller's best time?

leeK9, that was a gud time, is there much work done to your ek9?

Yea learning curve for me bud, neiller found it hard also, got blast against him on last run and i just piped him.
Maybe if it was dry things would be different.
Not sure if 'lee' is running b18 or stripped out car etc but that time was very good.
Let him reply.

Yea mate it would be a bit different in the dry! I would think the ek9 with those mods and 4.78 final drive would be capable of very low 14s although when I ran a 14.1 in the dc2 it was on the limit in every gear and I honestly couldnt squeeze a better time if I tried! Its very hard to even run a split second faster in a 1/4 mile but gud fun no matter what time you run:)

hahahaha that DC5 got a bit of a shock lol

Taught you had a b18c lee?

prob is

engine block says b16b so thats all im saying from now on

I'd say it is stroked from the in car video you posted up before. Pulls very well. You could measure the stroke by doing the welding rod down through spark plug hole method. That will confirm it:nice:
