TE37 Bronze Refurb *Opinions Please!*

Hi guys,

Been doing alot of small jobs on the 9 and have finally decided to go refurb with the Bronze TE37s (stupid corrosion).
I understand they are anodized, and the finish will never be quite the same after the re spray.
Does anyone know about buying this paint match on this site?

i wouldnt refurb them

but you could sell them to someone with a track car that isnt worried about condition and buy a mint set second hand
 
I wouldnt try to replicate the original bronze. Its going to be obvious that it's not the original finish;

a) Because the anodized volk bronze is impossible to match (take my word for it Ive tried)
b) Because they will no longer have the bronze TE37 signature tinted clear anodized lip.

You run the risk of making them look like Rota Grid's with shiney new stickers.
 
I went ahead with the refurb.. I'll put some pics up of the result in a couple of days! If it doesnt turn out well I guess I can always just go white haha.
