Have any of you had this dyno'd yourselfers or more importantly had a remap with one?

The tegiwa has took a while to be back in stock I've been considering the skunk2 alpha and now can't decide which.

Tegiwa has amazing ground clearance

Skunk2 sounds like it will give a good all round power band.

I've never seen any dyno for tegiwa only hear this claim of 7bhp but that means not much it could be 7bhp peak gain with no gains else where

There's been a few lengthy conversations about this. The 7hp gain was measured once on a single car during a single test. So yes, it is capable of adding that much power but there's obviously no guarantee... I am not going into another argument with them, have a read thru this thread:

http://www.ek9.org/forum/air-intake-exhaust/56055-tegiwa-manifold-decat.html

There should be a dyno graph there somewhere in that thread too iirc! Personally I would buy a genuine second hand Toda or something like that, not because I would think it is actually that much better (gains wise I don't think there will be any difference), but because it will be cheaper in the long run. You can sell a second hand Toda for pretty much the same money you bought it for, which cannot be said when buying a new Tegiwa on Skunk2 header. That is of course true of any second hand vs new item.

It's users reviews of the mid range I am interested in a duno other than tegiwas own would be interesting to see. I have read every tegiwa threads I can find its user reviews matter to me

Sorry I thought there was a graph in there...... I have seen it, I'll try to find it for you.

Great manifold for the money and build quality is excellent

I run this on my track car and midrange is also improved over my previous 4-1 setup

Good info man thanks just what I wanted to hear. Cant find any comments or a graph showing midrange. I accept the quality is good and to expect a peak hp gain but no info in the rest and no reviews remapped

Our headers arrived back into stock today!

Good good just sorting my decision between the skunk2 and yours. Pros and cons for both but will order one by end of week. Will it be same promo code I used on my last order?

You are going to get good midrange with any 4-2-1 compared to a 4-1 or big tube header

I would be choosing the tegiwa over skunk2 any day

Tegiwa toda rep has slightly better ground clearance and after seeing both headers, the tegiwa is built to a higher standard

I have only heard good things about the tegiwa manifold!

I know alot of people slate them for other things but the manifold seem the be great and tbh I am considering selling my 98 spec manifold to buy one soon!

Cool thanks lads your reviews are what counts. Ok il order a tegiwa! I had planned to buy one for ages , the longer they were out of stock the more I questioned the actual performance of it over the whole rev range.

I have seen the dyno before, can't be arsed to look for a link now though. I bought one recently, quality is decent, heavier than my old 2.25" feels but that's expected, yet to get the whole system fitted though.

well ive received one got to say not as impressed as i thought i would be, i am a weld inspector for a living so im too judgemental maybe & yes the robot welds are awesome but some of the hand work could be better and one section looks a tad miss aligned .

hmm you get what you pay for but this is a bit expensive considering a skunk2 alpha is 30 quid cheaper. Going to use the manifold as i cant be assed waiting any longer in swapping for a skunk2 although im sure a skunk2 is flawless for 30 quid less
