good work so far! i bet your loving the B16B :D Looks real nice 8)

very nice ;]
how much cost to changed engines? only for a work?
I got a deal on the motor/trans/assorted pieces. I paid, I think, around 4k for motor, trans, ecu, wire harness and more. I also got it from private seller who never used the engine. My original goal was to turn it into a CTR now I've decided to use performance parts that enhance the car so that I can participate in autocross and road race.

This motor came with a OS Giken Super Single clutch/flywheel, possible 1.8L stroker kit, different gears in the trans. I'm pretty sure it was used for Groupe A racing by its japanese owner.

Nice to see :) I recognize the emotion of halfway through :p My relieve was the biggest when the new one was in!

I'll be installing the Apex'i N1 ExV Coilovers and Skunk2 Limited Edition LCA's this coming Wednesday.

I also have the Ingalls Torque Damper that I'll be installing a tad bit later...it was out of stock.

^not mine

Well it turns out it wasn't thieves....but he sure was acting like it. It was my neighbor's buddy picking him up both times. He drove a modded VW GTi.
Anyhoo...I've had the Ingalls Torque Damper installed for quite a while now and I've got to say it improved shifting, engine jerking, etc...here is some pics....excuse the crazy amount of dried salt. No point in cleaning it until spring comes around because I just get more salt on there right after I wash it.

If you are running aftermarket mounts like mine you will have to modify the bracket in order for it to go UNDER the mount as opposed to above it like on the stock mounts. Very easy mod...

Coming along nicely! I have the same Skunk2 lower arms - really nice bit of kit.

I also have the same tyres and find them hurrendous! Not too bad in the dry but in the wet they are awful. How do you find them?

Josh..

I find them decent for daily driving but HORRENDOUS for spirited driving.
what do you think of the eneos oil? do you use 5w40? or?
i use the 5w30 currently but I'm considering switching to the 5w40 based on the recommendation of a good friend of mine who has hellacious experience....and he's an engineer.

His words of wisdom were basically: the "_w_" nomenclature is misleading to a certain extent. SAE uses a certain set of guidelines to establish the "_w_" system. The link I posted has much more info and my buddy "Kyanai" (he's on the site) would be able to explain it MUCH better than I.
