Dont know if this is a wind up but I would say that these kinds of things are more common than people think.
I went over to a friends house as he said the engine oil light kept comming on when he turned on the ignition. I said this is normal, he said just to be sure he filled it with oil.

He filled it with oil until it was comming out the top of the rocker cover!
