Right well when i got this car i thought i was just goin to scrap it and get a few coin. After having a look around it and seen it was in good nick bar the graffiti etc then i thought im going to run about in this. I didnt want to spend any money else where apart from the eg but i really need a car to get about and polo just wasnt cuttin it. Its a 1.4 but the engine is scrap. Doesnt start. Its just had a new full system and disks and pads. Last week i had bought an ek9 head and block. Didnt kniw what i was going to do with it, but yesterday i decided to get something built. So today i went to Michael @ Type two whos doing my k swap, told him i had a lump of cash here and asked him what he could do. So he built me an engine tonight! Have to keep him on his toes! :p i bought a b16a2 bottom end of him as i knew the car it was previously in before. Got mounts all sorted and and ecu off Michael. Sourced out a box and throttlw body etc and ordered them tonight. Got a linkage and shafts etc sorted too. So tonight michael got the cleaner out and stripped the head down and gave it and the block a good clean. While it was all stripped dowm he gave the cam caps etc all a deep clean and they came up like new. He also did the valve stems as us honda boys hate blue smoke :p after being built back up he sorted me out with a Toda timing belt and got it timed up. So by next week the runabout shall be ready! Anyways ill let the pics do the talking!

To be honest, if i hada made my mnd up a bit sooner, it woulda been done by now. Say if i had of made my mind up on monday it woulda been swee,t as it was only yesterday and by the time we got parts organsied its going to be mid week by the time all the parts come. If they hada been there it woulda been finished last night/today. Yea he was easy persuaded to do it, but he said once he started he wasnt stopping until it was spotless and together. He got me sorted with mounts, ecu, headgasket, timing belt, loom and got the car up today and got the 1.4 out of it. Absolute legend. Guna get an mot booked next week hopefully, he said all the bushes etc where all fine and there was new disks and pads etc to go onto it. He was saying about running my integra calipers and bigger disks on it as it needs a brake upgrade, so will see what happens. Ill keep you posted anyways mate!
 
Adds to the sleeper look. I will eventually. New 60mil springs are in it.
 
must be making good money to have this as run about vtec aint easy to run lol
 
Lol michael put a b18 into my mates mb a few weeks ago. Really dont expect it to be what it is when you see it lol. Keep us updated dude.
 
The red one? Watched it being built. He said it went really well. Michael is a good mate of mine.
 
Wee update. Got stuck into the car today and got it all cleaned up. Took me ages its not completely done yet but loads of tfr has done the trick so far. Heres the pics.

Holy crap that turned out really well! It worked wonders on the engine bay, looks new :D

Lol cheers mate. No point havin a clean and engine with a dirty bay. Have to make it look half respectable! :)
