Great scoob right there, the old ones are by far the best of the bunch. The only exception from the newer generation are the Cosworth, RB320, Spec C and Litchfield models. Exhaust wise get a straight pipe where the backbox should be, it's loud but you get the full fat WRC soundtrack then. Brothers mate had a bugeye STI with the OEM B pipe but a straight pipe where the backbox should be and it sounded absolutely incredible, it did have anti lag as well so it sounded like the engine was running on fireworks everytime you eased off the throttle.
Absolutely love it mate, colour matching is perfect. Laughed at the pipe section (type of thing that would happen to myself) going to be a killer on fuel though :| still worth it for the fun though.
Looks nice mate this is mine from back in the day (Sti V3)
I would get the car tuned and an uprated fuel pump fitted. I did this plus a magnex down pipe and it was running 362bhp 310ftlb. The metal intake pipe on yours is that a Zero Sports one? I had a catback Zero Sports sounded really nice but not boomy or too loud. Enjoy the motor and burning fuel
thanks for all the kind comments guys much appreciated
i have the car booke din for the 6th june to get a jap can and staright through pipe and keep the original bpipe cannot wait then hopefully get it mapped
