I had potenza's before the toyos and I thought they were worse. When I tried to get eagle F1's last time someone told me they were disconued to be replaced my new goodyear models ...... any1 know the story?
 
Guys, please don't put Eagle F1's on an EK9. You're going to upset the handling, you want something with a stiffer sidewall.

Get RE010's, or if money's tight try RE720, these are cheaper and better in the wet.
 
F1's are great tyres, and give awesome performance in the wet. However, I've only ever had them on my starlet, not an ek9. I'm not too sure whether to get a set for my ek9, as I've read they have soft sidewalls like the toyos. But surely you'd only experience problems with soft sidewalls on trackdays, i.e when your constantly conering hard? Can anyone confirm this?
So its a toss up between the F1's and Parada Spec 2's for me:)

Who told you that? They're one of the best wet tyres out there, but again, not on an EK9.

Sharkey, I hope you'll remove the Advan sticker once the Toyos go on:p
 
I think its all down to personal preference with tyres ive tryed all sorts and im running yoko prada spec 2's at the moment, which have a stiff side wall and for the money i think there very good and have lasted very well and grip well in the dry and are'nt as bad as people say in the wet,but to coin the old phrase one mans meat is another man's poison lol
