Changed my throttle body and used my exsiting sensors, but the gasket on the TPS broke and I don't think it has seal properly as my rev's are jumping on idle.

Now it appears this gasket can not be bought seperately (unless anyone knows where I can get one?) so I may have to make one out of gasket paper. However, does anyone know the thickness of the gsaket at all?

Secondly, before the throttle body was removed, we took a voltage reading which was 0.54 and set it back to that when the thorttle body was fitted. Does this sound about right?

Cheers guys.

So you cant buy the TPS gasket from honda as I am about to change my TB??

.54 sounds ok. having a broken TPS gasket shouldn't effect idle. Drive the car around for abit it might settle down where the ecu adjusts its trims.

I'd set the tps to read 0.45 when throttle closed and it should read 4.5 when fully open. Might not seem a big difference when it's closed but when your Ecu thinks your throttle is open fully it will not be.
Don't know why you can't get a gasket from Honda as I got inlet manifold and throttle gasket about two months ago from my local dealer. Don't have the receipt anymore though

They sell inlet and TB gaskets but not the TPS gasket by itself. A Google search appears to have confirmed this also.

Guess I'll have to make one.

Well gonna make a gasket tonight and change the voltage to what it should be. Reset the ECU and driven for a day and the issue it still there so must be something.
