Trackday camera mounts

What do people use and are suction mounts allowed? Some pics plus were they were bought from would be good also. Thanks :)

thats what i use mount sticks to front window screen and you can clip camera on and off.google in spy camera and look true should find it easy seen them a while back for 70 euro i paid 120
 
Suction mounts are not allowed on UK tracks now.
 
apart from Knockhill, i don't know of anywhere which allows suction mounts now.

Yeh it's pretty sweet.. here's a quick test I did for a laugh in the legacy:



Photobucket completely ruins it for some reason in terms of quality and playback....
 
I run the same as the one Bigskank has for sale, MSV cried about the suckers when I tried to use it so I swapped them out for some ally brackets and mounted on the seatbelt fixings..

This pic shows the 1st attempt but the angled bracket above is the best for the view (drops the level of the bar)

Finally tryed mine out it's a flip camera and flip tripod stand that comes with the straps. It fits tightly to the X brace and did'nt move when i went for a spin and for 19.99 from argos the stand is worth the money :nice:

I need to get some kind of mount on my cage. Off to the land of ebay me thinks!! Oooh actually i could fab one out of two exhaust clamps and some 2mm maybe :s

Nice vid DV8 have you added the dark borders to the vid aswell? Seems to be a signature style in the photo's of yours aswell, I really like it music works very well too. I might have to try and invest in something myself.

Partially that, but also if you did have a heavy crash it's bound to come loose and fly around the cabin at high speeds.
