Trying to locate my old JDM EK4 SiR - N440 AMS

Hi guys,

As the title says, anyone on here own it or know who does? I'd love to try and get it back in my life and I'd even be interested in doing a deal against my mint modded JDM championship white EP3 civic type r.

Here is a pic of the car when I owned it......

Looks clean but how come you wanting to swap a JDM ep3 for it?
 
Sentimental value to me mate, I've regretted selling it ever since it left my hands about 4 years ago! I even contacted the guy who bought it off of the bloke I sold it to tonight to see if he still had it but he sold it about 2 years ago, he reckons the bloke who bought it off of him still has it tho but his mobile number doesn't work anymore so he couldn't contact him for me.
 
I couldnt sell my car, it would just kill me :( That looks mega tho mate! good luck with your quest
 
Ask the the guy if he knows the other dudes name and what area he's from. It may help narrow it down and allow members to look out for it within the area.
 
Yeah cheers guys. The bloke I was chatting to last night who bought it off of the bloke I sold it to said that he's seen the car a couple of times on club stands with ek9's, hence why I posted on here, I've also put the same post up on civiclife. I'll try to find out his name and where he was / isfrom today. :)

it's recently had a k swap, it's tatty though :(
 
Thanks for your help guys! I had a lot of response on Civiclife about this too, someone on there posted a thread of it. I agree looks tatty now, and even with the k swap I wouldn't have it back, it was absolutely mint when I had it and it took a lot of time, effort, and money to get it looking as good as it was when I had it, such a shame it's gone down hill. The guy who bought it off if me, and the guy who bought it off of the guy I sold it to both kept it looking mint and didnt touch it mod wise, so it was exactly as I sold it, but since the 3rd owner has had it it's changed quite a bit, k swap I'm sure is an animal in it, but I wouldn't of done that myself, this car was meant to have a b series and a b series it should still have, a b18c5/6 would have been spot on, or even a b20 vtec, but not a chop and drop k swap IMO.
 
agreed. me and kadir on cl were telling him how it needs tidying up. the guy seems sound, and admits he's let its looks slide abit, well, alot. it's not much better in the flesh, but you gotta start somewhere.

my old ek4 has been broken now, gutted.
 
Yeah Kadir said that on CL as well. It's such a shame that people out there are willing to pay a good price for a car that is mint and then just let it slip massively, I don't get it. To be honest I think I would rather be told the car has been broken than let it get to this state, I hope the current owner pumps as much money into the bodywork and wheels as he has to the engine conversion to get it back up to the high show standard that it was.
 
i dont know if its just me but i get that hard guilt feeling after selling my beloved honda...

it really gets worst when you see it driving by or saw it infront of you with another owner..

missing my SiR.. =(
 
Yep, I get that feeling, but I get that feeling the most with this SiR :(

I'm tempted to get another EK, strip it bare, and go mad on it with nothing but JDM aftermarket parts.
 
that's fine, but look at the market, its flooded with fake ****. my car has taken 3 years to get to where it is now as you just have to wait, wait, and wait some more.

upset me with my ek4, as it was the first honda i built, it was mint!

i brought the rear lip back off of it, so i guess it lives on in a sad way!

Some guy Azza lol. I dont think i could buy back any of my old cars after somebody else has tampered with it.

have you considered getting a fresh one imported, so that it will be yours and only yours?
 
glad you found it mate, shame its not in great nick now though, athought maybe he was getting the k20 done and then going to tidy it up after this is all good.

i know the feeling i sold my EG6 SiR II to a chap on here. i still regret it to this day... it had a fortune's worth of Feels hondatwin cam parts on it... including ECU and Coilovers those parts alone totalling nearly £4000.... but as far as i'm aware its getting complete carbon body work and a 500Hp B18C turbo engine built by yasir as i got a message from the new owner saying he had over £11000 worth of parts to go on it :) ... so i'm quite happy for it as its getting new shoes so to speak..
