arite mate i would only ever use toyo proxy t1r or goodyear eagle f1 great tyres but there really soft but handle ace

thats my opinion anyway

i would reccomend the tandard potenza re010's, once they've scrubbed in they really are great even in the wet!

Bridgestone Europe

click on the dealer locator on that page and get in touch with your local dealer to see how much they can do them for :nice:

what options do you have to choose from?

well im picking my ek9 up from dunc 2moro bt its got snow tires on it, he was going to put potenzas on it but cant find any in time, the only option i can think of is costco in reading they do a good price on michelins which iv been using for a while now, and i dont reali wont to drive from reading to glasgow on snow tires lol :nono:

will be fine just dont go nuts :nice:

yeah have they toyos too and think they grip well.

toyos do grip well but if you compare them to the likes of potenza's which have quite a stiff sidewall you notice quite a difference of how sharp the steering response is etc :nice:

Then you're missing out on how an EK9 should handle. They are both dreadful tyre choices.

Get something with a stiff sidewall like RE010.

agree with the above statement, toyo & goodyear are dreadful tires, advan & bridgestone tires are the only way to go with the EK9.

Actually they're not, they're dreadful for an EK9. Awesome choice on something like a Ford Mondeo.

I've just got some pirelli p6000, i will say im being a cheep skate as i only went for them as they where a good price for a set of 4!

As for snow tyres, i've been driving on mine since i got my car 2wks ago, just make sure you keep the tyre pressures about 28psi! i've found this to be an optimum pressure in current conditions. you will find that snow tyres will give you a load of understreer if trying to go round corners quickly! so don't just throw it in! will be my only advise!
