What Clutch Should I Go For With My Close Ratio Box :P


instead of starting up another thread, whats the cheapest place people have found to buy the excedy clutch? and/or the OEM DC2 clutch? I havent got a quote from Honda yet, anyone know how much they are on the top of their heads?

honda for oem dc2 is around 350 euros,the exedy one which is supposed to be oem itr is about 230-290

I know I know mate but my heater matrix fix is most important thing at the moment unfortuntely! Jimbob has set me up with a matrix so just need to get my dash out this weekend and get it sorted!:)

The minute that is done I will be slamming my mountain of parts on the 9 and I will be throught to see you bud! :)

go for Ogura or OS giken single plate......
Ogura have a soft paddle compare with OS giken...
when u press the clutch pedal, everybody at there will looking ur car...kring..kring..

where is the best place to get the exedy clutches? Or should i say the cheapest place people have found? Im not getting much luck.
 
HAHA, John has been in my car so will know how an Ogura single plate 309 clutch feels/sounds :woot:

Yeah without the tax it works out to being £263 delivered. Thats without bringing him down on price. say + extra £25 for import tax......

I dont mind spending that much for a good clutch thats going to last and cope with my driving.
 
that would be very good price.id recommend a genuine release bearing however,ive fitted a few exedys and the pedal is a bit high as the exedy bearing is slightly smaller,more noticeable with the disc type but worth considering with a 3 puk also
