Civic hubs are 56.1mm. No idea with the wheels though - centre bores are a bit a git to measure tbh as you cant get a micrometer in the there to do it properly. None of the numbers there refer to the centre so I'd just try your best at measuring with a ruler and order the closest size and hope you're lucky.

If you know the wheel centrebore and the hub centrebore, I can supply spigot rings machined to fit.

They're not alloy ones though, they're plastic.
I supply only alloy ones as I've found the plastic ones last once, then when you take the wheel off after a few months they've gone brittle and snap when you remove/refit.

Absolutely - if you have aftermarket wheels with different sized centrebores than standard.

The studs, or bolts on the car are there to hold the wheel onto the hub, they're not designed to either centre, or support the load of the car. That's what the centrebore on the hub is for. Your wheel should sit snugly onto that lip as that will both support the load and properly centre the wheel onto the hub.
If neither are done you run the risk of shearing studs and/or having a wheel that isn't properly centred, this will make the car feel like it's not got balanced wheels on and give you vibration at speed.

The ones on my Team Dynamice have been fine so far altho alloy ones would be better

If the idea was for that to support the weight of the car onto the wheels - why does it look like such an insignificant lip? of less than an inch protruding out.

The wheel studs look more capable of supporting load than the lip?

The wheel studs alone shouldn't be expected to take the forces that driving the car excerts on them, they should be supported by the lip on the centrebore. That's what it's designed for, it's a load bearing lip. It's other function is to allow the wheel to centre exactly on the hub.
The wheel bolts or nuts' (depending on the make and model of the car) primary function is to clamp the wheel onto the hub.
If you whack a stud or bolt hard enough on it's side it will deform (which is what you'll be doing if it's not located onto the hub properly). If it's got the extra support of the centrebore, it will be fine.

On a similar note, does anyone know of any place that might sell 63.4 to 56.1 spigot rings?

I've been trying to get some for my wheels for ages. Not 100% certain that they're definitely 63.4 but I've tried some which are 64.0 and they're just the tiniest bit to big and as far as I know 63.4 is the next size down.

Yep I saw. Just didn't want to commit to buying any alloy ones specially machined up if I'm not sure of the size. With plastic ones I thought it'd be less bother getting a refund if they're not right.
Will give you a look up once I know the size and I've melted whatever plastic ones I manage to get hold of.

had my dad to measure them in the end and machined metal ones in work for me :) no wheel wobble now :D

That statement can apply to so many things with modifying cars... doesn't mean it's right though :) For the sake of £30, doing it right means you can guarantee there wont be any problems.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but will I have such a problem with Buddy Club P1's? They came off another 4x100 stud civic?

Cheers for any info.

It depends if the seller includes the spigot rings. If not, you'll need a set as I think they're a generic 72.x centrebore.
