What would a K20 EK9 be worth??

Yeah but my B18 EK9 will stay nicely with an E46 M3(to 100MPH) which are faster then the E36.

That video isnt that convincing for me to be honest. However ive seen a few youtube vids that are.

I would definitely need a spin in one with the mild upgrades(240ish bhp) before committing myself to a £6K conversion. Unless it was an instant 70-100BHP gain where it would be obviously greatly faster. I mean i jumped 27BHP from B16b-B18CR and that was huge difference to drivabilty so 35-40 more must be very nice.

If it isnt quite as fast as i would like to justify the big cost i think i will end up supercharging my car. I wouldnt want more then 280BHP. After that use-ability gets difficult in a FWD light car. Ive got turbo car already so would want the alternative. With the internals/compression to suit 10-12PSI reliably.

Looking forward to a ride in Chris completed project.
 
Too bad I don't live in the UK; with my G-Tech we could have rounded up some cars and done some real speed measurements.

You wanna tell me then that an EK9 isn't much better than an EG when it comes to cornering? By the way, I drive an EG myself.

Standard aye ek9 is 100x better. But who Kswaps a car and leaves everything else standard, a well setup eg (brakes, coils, ARBS, dc2 subframe, bushes etc) is a ****ing awesome thing to pilot haha.
 
Yeah I believe and know that :) But imagine all those same mods/money put into the cornering of the 9... :)
