i cant see it being very fun having a b16 in a ep that would be a bit of a downgrade but i suppose everyone to their own
Right im sick of reading so much crap about EP swaps...
B series swaps are not viable, too much $$$ for too little power. The amount of fabrication involved is unreal. Supposedly the boy with the B18 one got charged around 4k labour just to put it in.
For a K swap, the only parts you need for the swap that cant be took off a donor EP3 are the hasport mounts. I charge £3500 to supply and fit a K20 into an EP2, it can be done in two days.
Youd have to be a complete mug to want a B series 'cos its different'. People need to learn that being different doesnt automatically mean its good.
d-series to b-series is easier then d-series to k-series

But the sport which this car originaly was had a d16 engine which is the same gearbox and engine pattern as a B series.
I would of loved to go k20, but the fab work was abit more extreme. If i done that it would of just been an ep3, and a huge waste of time IMO.
Yes the ep2 came with a 110bhp d16 engine
