as some of you will know its hard to get me quiet online but i was concentrating pretty hard to keep off the kerbs lol

you guys certainly didnt make it easy anyway thats for sure

I can't do the talking and racing thing, as Matt will say everytime I opened my mouth he gained about half a second, Very close battle between me and matt it was awesome!

Cool pics man, yeah was a really good race and everyone stayed clean too! Unfortunately i lagged out with two laps to go :( had 5th secured aswell! So gonna appeal to fellow racers to allow me to keep my 5th place finish please! Cause i have showed up and finished all other races so would be mega gutting to lose out on one cause of something as silly as that :(

Only thing i can offer, which i dont like, is that if you lag out you effectivly get last place..... i would love to give you the position you had, but its not fait to others and nothing saying you wouldnt have wipped out and got passed in the remainder of the race.....

This isnt the 1st time it has happened so if this is the case, i think mathew will be awarded some points from the 1st race where he lagged out on the last lap too.

SO

Whats everyones opinions on lagging out near end of race and getting awarded the last place points? Will have to be over 50% of race duration though. I dont think its fair to deduct people points when they technically finished 5th, 6th and 7th.....

Id say over 75% of the race completed then lagging out should earn you last place points!

As anyone could do half the race, think they aren't going to win and just quit out, but still get points!

Was great race yesterday though, Communication was alot better, like letting people know your coming past and which side etc. Chat to a minimum & Just letting each other know when your passing worked great.

As said its my first finish with all my Aero still intact!
 
ps3 is now gone to the fiancees brother to make way for the xbox and forza then i will be joining you guys online ;)

well i wouldnt say destroy now but i did spend an hour trying to set up my camber and gear setting for that track as its very sore on the front tyres

also the two previous winners were not involved in the race so maybe i got lucky there :dance:

overall a good clean race and came back 100% minuse a few percent of gearbox lol
 
Just set a 2:15.757 on the Nur f1 track. Pretty happy with the time but I can go quicker. Rank 656 atm
 
Very Disappoint I missed yet Another Race :(
Just built another one and even practiced the track.

My late hours at work are taking a toll. Will try again next race.
 
I need to get on the Nurburgring GP, Do not know that track well enough on forza!

Getting use to no braking lines now Neil lol. Reduced the camber like someone said and stiffened the ARB and wow it's no much quicker.
When are the standings getting updated?
 
Not trying to steal any setups but what do you have your ARB's set at?
I've been trying as much as possible to keep the ARB's soft cause it tends so flip ALOT on the Rumble strips with High ARB Rates.

Mine are somewhere below 15 IIRC.

Quick Question :

1st : 25 points
2nd : 18 points
3rd : 15 points
4th : 12 points
5th : 10 points
6th : 8 points
7th : 6 points
8th : 4 points
9th : 2 points
10th : 1 point


Anyone else think the gap between 1st and 2nd is a bit big? Maybe bring it down to 22?

If you come 2nd and then 7th you will still be worse off than someone who came first once and then didn't even finish the next race. poor comparison i know Just seems like a big jump up!!


Or are the points relevant to how many player are in the race ?? This isn't covered at all in the "CUP INFO" page so just wanted some clarification :)
