Should get some good progress this weekend, heading up tonight again as my mates welding the radiator brackets and giving me a hand to drop the subframe out
I take the train most days to work as it saved sitting about in traffic, although I do like to take the car a couple days and still will after all this is done
Ian, not nervous yet, making good progress so no need to be
was on a bit of a roll last night so stayed out to the garage till about half 1
subframe out and PS lines unhooked, going to strip the rack later today
masked up the holes in the bulkhead, rubbed down both sides of the engine bay and primered them, primer was still wet in this pic
A close-up, bashed out the studs for the oem strut bar as they're not needed
For anyone looking at decent 4 pots, take into account you will be done this every so often ( (mine have been on the car for almost 15k miles)
Just held the pistons in place with G-clamps, blasted some air through the bleed nipple with my thumb covering the flexi, cleaned up the pistons one at a time with some t-cut to remove any dirt
Not bad for rattle cans, just got to head up tommorow night wet sand it slightly and get some laquer on, after that some pics with a decent camera, haha
Cheers guys, looking forward to getting it all assembled
Split my front hubs and fitted the arp studs yesterday, dropped the lot in at local garage after work today to get the new bearings fitted and pressed back together
Took thursday/friday off work this week so got a 4 day weekend to get it built
