Aftermarket exhaust system recommendation

I personally think the Spoon N1 system is too bassy and drowny for my liking :(

Tim in that vid what de-cat were you running? :)

Mugen Twinloop Full Exhaust System with a De-cat for the win!!!

spoon is avery nice system. ive had a few spoon catback in the past and i loved it.
however, as age is catching up with me now, i need something more reasonable. twin loop is a very good compromise, and the weight of it is irrevelvant (unless its a full time track car)
As steven said though, the street box is also a very nice sounding system :nice:

The Spoon Street is what I have on my DC2...:nice:

Excellent OEM noise levels low down, getting nicely fruity in VTEC...

It makes a lovely noise as well as having a stock looking tailpipe as an added bonus...I use a hi-flow CAT in my system & find the volume totally acceptable

Big tailpipes really dont suit EK9's or DC2's either IMO

Might need to source myself a new backbox or get mine chopped open for some invest as i have a rattley baffle issue at the moment. Seems a common occurance with well used Street backboxes from what i have seen..:(( Doesnt affect the noise at all though:p

Aye Mugen manifold, Unknown Decat and Spoon b pipe and n1

Sounds pretty much how i would imagine HELLFIRE to sound

if you take it off and run with your original one for a week or so i can get john to crack it open and tig weld anything that needs altering mate :nice:

Awesome, will send you a PM mate:nice:

Could always get a custom one built..and i dont mean a cheap powerflow jobbie. I mean a decent one built by Hayward and Scott who are one of it not the best exhaust builders in the country. They work on Porsches, Evo`s and so on and they do it all properly. Also MIJ Performance in Walsall are pretty good builders. My friend just had a cat back system and sports cat made for his Corolla Compressor and the work they did is at a very high standard and imediately the difference could be felt and even his mum commented on the difference the system had made lol. The cat back was £350 and the sports cat was £160 which considering the quality of the system was pretty good i thought.

Hmm..good suggestion.

Was a custom exhaust I had on my Starlet.

What are the best dimensions for a custom exhaust for B18C?

Would have though 2.5" bore will be fine for any reasonable build as thats what most people use and thats what standard JDM ITR`s use as the manifold has a 2.5" collector.

Thanks for clearing that up.

I'm new to the EK9 and Honda's ya see! Still learning.

as said before fujitsubo,

very good quality exhausts, fits the car very well, no tapered down sized bits on the joints like some others,

i have the fujitsubo power getter, its a bit louder than the legilis r, but not to bad at all:nice:

js 60rs awesome in vetec not overly loud on motorways etc :)) but is very pricey atm fujitsubo prob cheaper
