Anyone run 95 RON fuel here?

if it was an sir it probably had that. my old ek4 just said premium unleaded on the flap. would only put normal unleaded in a type R if i was completely stuck. even though they have knock sensors it will be down on power and feel sluggish.
 
Vpower or Momentum 99

Both seem good, cant really tell a difference except in my wallet, Vpower tends to be a penny cheaper near me than Tesco, plus the roads are more fun to the Shell garage :D
 
I run my EK4 on standard unleaded petrol purely on grounds of cost. Yes, it runs a bit better on V power but at the moment I can't justify the extra cost living off my savings without a job. :(
 
I only use V-Power. I once used Shell Optimax and the car felt so under powerd and kicked out black smoke on full throttle.

I normally run mine on Tesco 99 but on the occasions I've run in on 95RON I haven't really noticed any bad effects. Not sure if I've got a knock sensor on mine (UK B18 on a jdm ECU) so I try not to do it too often.
 
I've just put momentum in mine and it felt shite straight away....Nothing major, i could just feel a slight slugishness.

V-power for me!

Shell optimax and V power are the same fuel, the name changed from Optimax to V power around 2006-2008.
