I Need ones

What you got chaps?

Or any suggestions where i can get one for a decent price?

I got a pasword jdm kit off IBLoud on civiclife for £25 posted, give him a pm as he distributes for them now :nice:

Yup I can get you a kit like RoboEk said. I am putting another order through shortly so let me know if you want one.

Still after a baffled sump chaps

Not wanting one of these kits

Cheers :)

you could always weld your own baffles in

Only pic i could find of home made ones in a hurry, but you canmake them much gucci'er

BUT

for the sake of an hours work, some sheet metal and an imagination you save yourself spending a small fortune on something that will do the same job ;)

Moroso pans are a bit pants tbh, the best bet is to go for the Mugen one if you can find it, the welds are hidden and the overall finish is beautiful - the spoon one is a bit throughother looking tbh in comparison

who cares what it looks like Lol

I dont want want a kit because it will mean buying a brand new sump and for the price of the new sump and the PWJDM Kit its nearly the price of a brand new Moroso

2 mates both run the standard spec Moroso sump (not the one with the kicked out capacity/extra traps)

Both the cars are track only and they have had no issues at all with them, just that the flywheel cover/brace had to be modified with a grinder slightly to clear it

That would be my first choice, spoon / mugen etc their ones are WAY overpriced for what they are

When i had the sump off replacing the gasket i was suprised at the baffling they come with as standard, it's a fair bit tbh!!! Another mate of mine ran full slicks on his uk dc2 going about 12 trackdays in a year, standard sump with oil ran a few mm over max and no problems with oil starvation etc and it ran sweet

As a primarily road car with some track use i'm quite content with running the oil a few mm over max line on the standard sump :)

thats what i normally do mate but if i want to use these full slicks for the trackscotland night i was just a bit concerned about oil starvation

**** it, might just run them and deal with the consequences if it happens (K20)

I have just bought the pasword jdm kit from Accessory Zone & my car is off the road!

So what i am thinking if you want i can take my sump off my car get the kit welded in & send you that, then you could send me your sump once you have changed it over???? (providing your sump is 100% ok) then i would just buy the kit agen & refit to mine!:nice:

How soon would you need the sump?????

Just though i would offer anyway mate!:))

what an nice gesture..

Cheers mate!
My grandad once said to me "Treat people how you would like to be treat" & that has always worked for me, with the odd few exceptions of cors.lol (there is always going to be the odd KNOB out there:angry:)
Dunsy seams like a "well respected user" on hear, so i dont mind helping a fellow user out! (i would do the same for you RICKY:nice:)

Mate thats actually such a kind offer like! thanks very much for that

im genuinly shocked but in a good way! Il have a think about your offer mate but from what people are saying it seems i may be able to just use the OEM sump in the meanwhile.

Thanks very much though JimBob!

Ross.....with regards your post over on the Dc2 forum, I work alongside 'Drmikey' so rest assured any dealings you have with him regards sumps/baffle plates will be a good one :nice:
