What do these actually do or does anybody have one?

It prevents the brake master cylinder from moving when you're hard on the brakes. The firewall is made of relatively thin metal which leads to flexing.

It gives better feedback during braking. I personally had the Cusco one and it is a worthwhile mod in my opinion.

Tegiwa do their own one, pic below. As above, an improvement.

I too have one, They are well worth having. Really is a noticable improvment over stock.

does anyone no if u can get 1 for an eg6 sir that has a ek9 master cylinder or would the ek9 1 fit?

You should buy stopper that is based on your chassis. They are adjustable so the added length of the EK9 master shouldn't be an issue.

Carbing in addition, has theirs built into their 3point tower bar which is nice but quite expensive...

From Carbing:
"A master cylinder stopper regulates movement of firewall at braking and also makes great feeling of pedal touch control.
It is a recommended item for a parson who wants to get a brake control that is more accurate reaction and quick response of pedal input force."

i also have the cusco one. excellent mod in my opinion. cusco have 2 different ones for the ek9, 1 for the ek9 with abs & 1 for ones without.

Is the brake pedal alot harder when you slam on it etc?

i bought 1 of these about 3-4 years ago (cusco) but turned out to be non abs version so sold it

any cheaper versions out there for ek with abs ?

I got the teigwa one and was very inmpressed with the gains. Brakes feel much more firmer and responsive. I love it great mod.:nice:

do any one here have it on their EK??

can post up a pic?? cos i m planning to get 1 myself, but worried tat my simota guppy intake wil be in the way

Is the Teigwa one for ABS or non ABS?

Was not mentioned in the ad.

Makes no difference at all since they all use the same master cylinder.....

Although on the ABS models there is a small bracket you get rid of as this is where the MCS bolts, the small bracket you remove holds the wiring/plugs for the ABS, you just have to cable tie these to the MCS hence why the Tewiga one has a few holes in it to loop your cable ties through :)

For doing a fair whack of work on his Glanza, my mate has ordered me one, should be here today or start of next week
