This is my ek9 up for grabs, am still not sure 100% if i really want to do this yet.
But here goes,

I bought this car as a Bare shell from matthew (689R) who bought the shell from livvy, Livvy imported the car from japan and stripped it for parts, so it wasnt actually registered on the uk roads, So I registered the car when the car was built so i am really the first uk owner of the car. I took the car straight to Automek Based in East kilbride *end mar/start of apr 2011 (Automek – Servicing & Performance Tuning), Andrew Baird, my mechanic built my car from scratch.

Even tho i didnt build the car with my own hands, i still put alot of time, hard work, and money into the car. This is by far my fav honda i have owned and the fastest. It suprises alot of poeple on the road.

Anyways,

The Build.

Andrew Baird is one of the best honda tuning specialist in scotland,
I got him to make sure everything was done properly, no cutting corners.

He undersealed the car as soon as he got it. Got him to check to make sure the car was mechanically sound,

Andrew transfered the K-swap to the ek9, 5 stud hubs, new brakes all round, poly bushed with hard racing bushes, all the suspension parts, coilovers, camber arms front and rear, toe arms, lca.
He also redone the wiring for the whole car, swaped the dash over, plastics, interior.
Fitted the bumpers, bonnet, wings, spoiler, grill, sideskirts.

Before you know it car was built within 4-5 days.
Very impressed with Andrews work and service.

Once the car was built,

I trailered the car to I.A bodyshop, Imy resprayed the whole car y56 again,
The shell was super clean but because i had to paint the bumper, bonnet etc, i decided just to respray the whole car. Imy also put the bonnet pins on and also welded the eye bolt inside the car.

The car came out Amazing and still looks amazing as she stands now.

I had the car dyno'd at Triple H dyno and she made 257.3bhp with 170tq on a base map.

Before i took the car to tdi north, i got a custom 3" exhaust made by billy at CAS based.

Took the car down to Tdi north and got paul west to remapp the car.
He got 265bhp with 180 tq, every pleased with the results paul made.

car pulls stronger and smoother.

Engine has done about 47k miles
shell is about 45k miles.
I dont have any paper prove to prove this but you can see the car for yourself.

i have Dc2 clocks which show mileage in km and is not the right mileage for the car.

Like i said above, i had to regi the car on to uk roads, so i am the 1st owner of this car on uk roads.
i to go thro hell via dlva as they are useless.
but i finally got there.
i have the v5, mot for 9-10 months * i will double check*, tax 6 months just been renewed.
throught the winter the car sat in my garage so the cars not seen snow or heavy rain.

There is no rust on the car, everyones nightmare.

Like i said, I am still not 100% sure if i want to sell my pride and joy:(
but apart of me wants a new car, Evo IX, Lotus Exige or a M3 E92.

I'd love to keep it if i can afford the two cars but unfortnately i cant:(

Service history i have all the paper work from automek.
i always took my car to andrew for a service.

car as been thro europe and a track day.

Car had the timing chain, guides, tensioner, cam sensors, crank sensors. spark plugs, oil change, headgasket replaced within the last 1300miles ago.

I am only going to post it on EK9.org for the time being before posting any where eles.

I cant think of anything eles and am sure i have missed out tons of things.

I can honestly say shes never let me down and never skipped a beat.

Got the car corner weight also, car feels so much better going round corners.
car weigh'd about 975-980kg including my self. Am a big boy lol

so quite chuffed with that.

Tdi north mapped the car,

at henrys dyno car made 257bhp and 170tq

tdi north 265bhp 180tq.

this is honestly the best car.


you have to go out in this to know how good it is.

this shell when i bought it from livvy looked as it had just rolled out the factory. amazing vehicle.

Yeah dan I know. Major sucks. But you'd never know, wel see what's out there. If it doesn't sell, just means I've got a k20 ek9 lol
