to fit the ek9/dc2 shifter to a b16a2 linkage you will need to machine the bottom of the shifter as the b16a2 linkage is too narrow.

i have a b18 linkage here if you need one mate :nice:

@eternal blue, damm you sure? i thought ek9 shifter fitted ek4 and that it was the dc2 shifter that needed filed down..

i'll fire up a post to double check :D

sure the ek9 uses the same linkage as the dc2 one!

got caught out myself when i went to fit my dc2 one,as said the ek4 linkage is too narrow for the ek9/dc2 shifter.

if you need the linkage fire me a pm and i will sort you out :secret:
 
I'll keep you in mind mate, my bro is an engineer so if it does need machined he may be able to sort something out for me

credit where it is due mate. haha the mb 5 door shlag is still pulling strong haha. Its worlds apart from the ek but its pretty comfy and gets me from a to b, which is exactly what i need over the winter. Was in dundee yesterday though to see my parents after they got back from holiday and count resist but take the 9 out for a wee blast and i must say that i do miss it big time :(
 
Bet you are! You'll need to take me a run in it when it's out to play again after winter and the map :naughty:
 
Alredy have someone interested in them if i do end up taking bits off the car, but would just like to sell it as it is :D
