Dead EK9 :(

I havent posted on this forum for a while. I wrote my car off last month. :( It was an imaculate example of a EK9 Rx that Duncan imported a year ago with nice Gram light wheels on it. I was gutted when it happened but all i can say is thank god for recaro seats as i didnt get hurt and it was very lucky i didnt hit anyone else or roll it.

Im really sorry to see your car like that mate !! - The main thing is everyone walked away unhurt ! Will you be able to repair it or is it a total loss ??

you must be gutted, but as you said at least no one was hurt.

What happened? Gutting to see an EK9 in that state:(
 
It has been written off.... I had a lift off oversteer moment in a country lane and managed to do just over a 180 degree spin before i hit a stone bench backwards. :((

I just bought a nice Lexus IS300 with the payout though...
 
Thats not good.... makes me sad seeing type r's like that. Glad you were safe and sound.
 
i know how you feel matey i wrote mine off difference is im 3rd party so i re-shelled it instead of breaking it and getting f**k all
 
:wow: So sorry to hear that the car is now in car heaven :nono: that was a really good mint one i can remember it well. At least you are OK thats the main thing.

Che gente... la prossima volta prima di comprarti una ek9 prenditi una macchina che possa guidare un qualsiasi pivello... almeno si evitano certi incidenti... già ce ne sono poche di R... in più se voi pivelli le sfasciate tutte... bah... glad your'e ok...

dude, that is ****. I remember seein it at japfest earlier this year, those gram lights were awesome wheels, just a shame to see another go really.

That's worrying.

I was speaking to a member of another forum who moved from a Starlet to an EK9 and I was asking for his thoughts on the car.

He said the lift off oversteer was terrible on the stock suspension and that coilovers sorted it out.

Would a bigger rear anti roll bar solve that problem?
