Dyno meet/day

Anyone know a good place in Scotland we could get a dyno shootout day arranged for us all?? I know of Dastek but thats it. If anyone has any ideas or phone numbers I will arrange or if someone else has contacts they could arrange if they like. Would love to get my car on the dyno, never done it before!:nice:

i would interested in taking part in this . not to keen on dastek though as there readouts tend to tell you that you have alot more bhp than you actually have .

theres hypertech on bonnybridge too - seem to have sorted out the problems they were having with their dyno too
 
id be up for this too, only at a decent dyno though.

i suggest AVA, only give readinds in WHP and are considered accurate.

Ramsey get your finger out and get summing booked ha ha! Mite bring my bmw along for a laugh. duff will bring his 200sx to.
 
Hey lads thanks for the replies! I'll contact Star, Hypertech and AVA and see who can give us the best deal and let u know! Dastek can get to fook, I didnt like what I've heard about them anyway!lol I'll get it done this weekend and get back to you all, would be an ace day!

Right I phoned around today folks! :)

Star - Not interested. They wouldnt say why! :(

AVA - They are very interested. Alan who I spoke to was very helpful. They will do it for £25 each. They would require a deposit 2 weeks before, etc. He can cater for up to 35 cars in one day but I think I will put a cap on 30 of us going that way we have a bit of scope for talking to everyone, getting graphs, lunch, etc! I prefer AVA already! :)

Hypertech - Very helpful also. Alex and Duncan were very sound. Its £40 a head and they will only cater for up to 15 max for the day.

A few questions for everyone -

1. What date is best for everyone?
2. I need definite numbers?
3. Is is just to be ek9.org members going or could say my brother in his almera come along?
4. Where do you prefer AVA or Hypertech?
5. Anyone like to organise a photoshoot, videos and report for the forum from the day?

If anyone can recommend anywhere else let me know or if you any issues.
